RECOMMENDED BACKGROUND :
Successful completion of Year 8 Home Economics and an interest in nutrition and food preparation.
COURSE CONTENT: This semester course allows students to develop skills in food preparation and includes topics of fast healthy food, and experience in preparing nutritious cultural foods. The course focuses on the dietary guidelines and explores topics of interest such as the place of energy drinks in the diet.
